Books, Movies, and Games. Oh My!
while watching a few minutes of the academy awards last night (aka, lord of the rings awards banquet) i remarked how lotr:rotk was going to win yet another award. bm then said -- "yeah, because it was a good movie. well, i haven't seen it, but i've played the game". heh!
it left me thinking -- my how things have changed. i've certainly heard people say how they haven't read the book, but have seen the movie. now it seems that if you haven't read the book or seen the movie, you can still relate to the story via the video game. i shudder to think what's next, yet at the same time look forward to the experience.
