Still No Linkblog

  • Belkin iPod Media Reader
if you own an ipod and like to take lots of digital pictures, this might be just the right device for you. offload pictures to your ipod so you can shoot some more.

  • It's A Jungle Out There
pricenoia.com compares prices at every amazon store available, adding shipping costs to your country. i know i've had to buy some things via amazon.ca because it wasn't available from amazon.com, and here's yet another reason to check out the non-US amazon stores.

  • Northern Lights
this link is for the first private worldwide live webcast of auroras! i still want to see them with my own eyes, but this will hold me over until i can do so properly.

  • Coming To Terms
tim bray gives a glossy overview of the vc process, something i wish i had known more about prior to going through it the first time. live and learn.

  • Life's an Illusion
i stumbled across a bunch more optical illusions over at mathworld. it includes things like the traditional young girl/old woman both as line art (as normally seen) and in what seems to have been a print ad. then there is also necker cube (seen it in q-bert?) and the infamous kanizsa triangle. funny how most illusions are doing by pyschologists. hmmm, a conspiracy theory yet to be brewed.

  • Subways, not subs
pretty nifty, albeit i'm quite bummed they didn't included b.a.r.t..

  • yarmulkabra
    oy vey! 'nuf said.
  • Half Time Janet Barbie
