March 21, 2004iTunesok, so i've managed to get 12 pepsi itunes winner caps so far. not bad for a person that doesn't drink pepsi. i redeemed my first one today. just because it felt right on so many different levels, my first ever iTunes download was a nora jones' song titled don't know why. i followed that up with a few more tunes from her -- she has a fantastic voice and now being in the jazz/blues mood i headed straight for eric clapton and snagged stormy monday and more. to finish it off, i went for a miles davis tune (recommended by branford marsalis) called sanctuary. i'll have to listen again, but i'm a bit disappointed in this one. generally i like davis' work, but even despite the most excellent album title (bitches brew). oh! in the process of looking for some new tunes, i stumbled across an artist named joss stone. give her a listen sometime. now to figure out how to turn these eff'ing acc files into mp3... i suppose i can burn 'em to cd then rip them, if push comes to shove.
