Pirates of the Monterey

thursday afternoon was spent aboard the 70' yacht, chardonnay ii. when i was told we'd be going out on a boat for wine and cheese i was fully expecting one of those "cruise around the bay" type boats, not a sail boat that was planning to hit 18 knots. a pleasant surprise!
i took a some pictures while on the high seas. enjoy!
chalk-white man of the deep blue sea
for in life, death shall be
respect care joy belief
washed away, replaced by grief
man sits, alone in a crowd
floating on a dark black cloud
crying laughing frowning smiles
close to home, far in miles
deep blue man of the chalk-white sea
for in death, life shall be

wow ... I've never been on a sailboat, but the view looked awesome. Glad you got to enjoy the ride.
