Take A Picture, Go To Jail

i don't know this fellow and can't say there wasn't more going on than said in his description; however, just the idea that someone can be arrested while simply being near a protest demonstration and taking pictures is downright scarey! i'm sure the officers were doing their jobs the best they could. this sort of action comes from the top. chief of police? no, higher. mayor? no, higher. governor? higher. you get the point.

i don't want to vote for kerry, i really don't. he doesn't instill confidence in me as a leader that will get this country back on track. but damn it, the prospect of having bush in office for four more years scares the crap out of me. between trying to impose his moral values upon the rest of us and a penchant for taking away constitutional rights... i just don't think i can do it and sleep well at night.
