on jeopardy's college tourney, the contestant from cmu took his big lead and had a little fun with his final jeopardy wager. i'm certain most didn't get the joke, but that my friends is more than half the fun about it. as you can see from the screenshot, he wagered the sum of $1337.

In leetspeak, 1337 translates to "leet" or "elite."
