Koyaanisqatsi

It's always fun to learn a new word, especially when it's relatively obscure and has five different meanings.

Koyaanisqatsi: (ko.yaa.nis.kahtsee) N. from the Hopi language.
1. crazy life. 2. life in turmoil. 3. life disintegrating.
4. life out of balance. 5. a state of life that calls for another way of living.

In addition to being a pretty cool word, albeit not one you are likely to use in every day conversation, it is also the name of the first part of a movie trilogy. Koyaanisqatsi is definitely not a mainstream flick. Very artsy. No dialog. No Plot. Just artistic presentation scored by award winning musical artist Philip Glass.
