Confidence

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this flick was a pleasant surprise in the end. Confidence is about a sharp and polished grifter, Jake Vig, that swindles $150k from an unsuspecting mob boss (played by Dustin Hoffman). Rather than trying to hide, Jake and his crew hook up with his past victim to try and pull and even bigger heist.

The movie's flavor was something you might expect from Tarantino, several twists and turns and the timeline periodically moving about. While the movie itself was hardly novel, it's worth the watch especially if you enjoyed movies like "The Usual Suspects" and "Reservoir Dogs".

"Now count to ten and ...."
