Sharks 5, Islanders 4

the sharks .vs. islanders game was quite entertaining last night. it was about damn time most of the scoring was down on our end -- 4 sharks goals in the second period plus micheal peca's shorthanded goal for the islanders. i was really hoping the isles were going to wear their kick-ass third sweaters, but alas it wasn't to be. i haven't shared much in the way of pictures lately, so dusting off the 'ol camera i snapped some pictures at the game.

while i didn't get a picture of it, one amusing moment during the game -- at a stoppage actually -- it was late in the third period with the teams milling around waiting for the commercial time-out to end, big dave scatchard of the islanders asked one of the linesman for a little equipment help. the official lifted up scatchard's jersey and began re-tying his pants. scatchard stood there like an obedient five year old mini-mite, waiting patiently until his pants were securely cinched back up. what was up with that?
